Recommends will be granted in: History 10, Science 10, MWA 10, Physics 20, Chemistry 20, and MWA 20
- To be recommended, expectations include a minimum 80% average, good attendance and behaviour, appropriate participation and contribution to classroom activities, and minimal late or missing assignments.
- Students who are granted the privilege of recommends will be informed January 20.

NOTES:
- Grade 10-12 semestered courses are final exams. Recommendations are made by teachers and will be posted by January 20th.
- Students must remain in the exam room for a minimum of one hour with the exception of MATH B30 a departmental exam; students must remain in the exam room until 2:00 pm.
- After completing the exam, students in Grades 10-12 may go home. Bus/out of town students must stay in school – you may not leave without permission from parent(s). Busses will run at regular time.
- Supervised study rooms will be provided for those students needing to stay.
Classes begin Tuesday, January 31 with Day 6 on the new timetable.
Winter Sports
- The skating rink is OPEN! Students are required to wear helmets. A donation of used skates
and helmets
is appreciated. Classes will be going as part of the physical education curriculum. Participation is mandatory. More information will be provided by the classroom teachers.
- CURLING has begun!
FLS staff and the Pelly Curling Club are offering the opportunity for students to develop skills on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 8:00 p. School classes will be going as part of the physical education curriculum. Participation is mandatory. Thanks to the SCC and a grant received last year, we have some brooms and sliders for students to use. Students are welcome to bring their own equipment as well. More information will be provided by the classroom teachers.
- Ms. Rumancik and Mrs. Spencer are leading the SRC in organizing a Gr. 7-12 curling bonspiel on January 27. Adult volunteers welcome! Come on out and share your knowledge and love for the sport of curling! Call the school for more info.
